EXW Ex Works — Seller places goods at buyer's disposal at named place. All risk/cost from that point = buyer.
FOB Free On Board — Risk transfers when goods cross ship's rail at named loading port. Classic for sea freight.
CIF Cost, Insurance, Freight — Seller pays freight + insurance to named destination. Risk still transfers at loading.
LOCODE UN Location Code. 5-char identifier. NLRTM = Rotterdam. SGSIN = Singapore. USNYC = New York.
Detention Charge for keeping carrier equipment (container) beyond free time outside the port gate.
B/L Bill of Lading. Receipt + title document + contract of carriage. Negotiable vs. straight types.
